Story of Rizq
Day before yesterday my brother in law (who is in Dubai) shared a contact detail of his friend whom he met in 2018 during Umrah. He told me that Ahmed is a nice fellow and he's looking for a job (He is a Mechanical Engineer). I talked to him in evening and found him to be a very nice fellow. He told me that he's originally from Multan and is currently based in Islamabad (and ideally looking for job in ISB). He shared his CV with me and I told him that I will forward his cv to my contacts. End of call
Today (just after two days) one of my friend (who moved from USA due to his business) contacted me (at 4:40 PM) that he is looking for a mechanical engineer for his Islamabad office. I immediately shared CV and subhanAllah his profile was exactly meeting the job description. My friend told me that his concerned staff will contact him shortly. I messaged Ahmed that he will receive a call shortly upon which he told me that he just had his Nikah today (after Zuhr prayer) and he was very happy learning that there is a job opportunity.
Exactly at 6:20 Ahmed messaged me that he was interviewed on phone and the guy on phone offered him job right away asking him to join from tomorrow 😳😳 upon which he requested the person on call that he can join after 10 days as he just got married today! SubhanAllah!
The entire episode has made me realize that how Allah (swt) plan things! I mean if we look at events then isn't it worth praising our Lord (swt)? Shouldn't we be relying on Allah (swt) alone and be His servant and know that rizq is from Him alone and that he make things easy if we submit to him! Allah (swt) says
Then if there comes to you guidance from Me, then whoever follows My Guidance he shall neither go astray, nor shall be distressed. "But whosoever turns away from My Reminder (i.e. neither believes in this Qur'ân nor acts on its teachings) verily, for him is a life of hardship, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection." (TMQ Surah Taha: 123-124)
If we ponder and think that how things happen for a reason! So many lessons here!
1. My friend moves from USA (after being settled there for 10 years) to manage his business.
2. My Brother in law who is in Dubai meets Ahmed who is from Multan, based in Islamabad in Hijaaz during Umrah!
3. Me who is from Karachi talks to Ahmed for the first time just two days back and my friend has a specific requirement related to his field!
4. He gets a job offer just three hours after his Nikah!
5. He gets a job during Covid pandemic!
